Elke Aippersbach, BSc, MD, MSc

Dr. Aippersbach is a radiation oncologist who recently joined South Suburban Cancer Center. She completed her undergraduate degree as well as her medical degree at the University of Alberta in Alberta, Canada, where she was honored with the Gold Medal in Science Award. Dr. Aippersbach received a Masters of Science degree in molecular and medical genetics from the University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada. She completed her residency in radiation oncology at Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Aippersbach is Board Certified and is a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO) and the American Medical Association (AMA). She has contributed to many scientific publications and research projects in the field of oncology.

Her special expertise and interests include breast and gynecologic cancer.
